Food & Trees for Africa. Most leadership teams get in touch when one of these starts to sound familiar.
Growth is happening, but no one can explain why.
Revenue is moving, but the explanation is split across teams. Marketing, sales, product, retention and finance each hold a piece. Leadership can't see how those pieces fit, so decisions default to the loudest opinion in the room.
Effort keeps rising. Impact doesn't.
Teams are busier than ever, but revenue, margin and retention aren't moving in line with the investment. You suspect the few things that matter are being missed. You just can't prove it yet.
Plenty of reporting. Not enough clarity.
Dashboards exist. Numbers get circulated. What's missing is the commercial read: which levers are moving pipeline, payback and retention, and which of them deserve more of the company's attention next quarter.
You probably don't need more marketing activity.
You need to know:
Where growth is really breaking down
Not the channel report — the point in the funnel, product or handover where value is lost.
Which channels and activities are creating commercial value
Separating what looks busy from what actually contributes revenue and retention.
Why marketing and sales are telling different stories
One set of definitions and one number the board can trust.
What the team should prioritise next
A short list you can defend, and permission to drop the rest.
Whether your people, processes and systems can support the next stage
An honest read on capability gaps before the next round of hiring.
Senior growth leadership for your next stage.

Agency, hire, or Yellow Carpet
Three different jobs, often confused for each other. Here's how they compare on what leadership actually needs.
| Agency | Full-time hire | Yellow Carpet ★ | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primary job | Execute more campaigns | Lead one function long-term | Help leadership see the whole business and decide where to focus |
| Speed to value | 4–8 weeks onboarding a brief | 3–6 month search, then ramp | A clear commercial read within weeks |
| Commercial view | Channel-level metrics | Ownership of one function | Across marketing, sales, product, retention and finance |
| Shape of engagement | Open-ended retainer | Permanent overhead | Fixed scope, defined timeline, clean handover |
| What you're left with | More activity, same questions | A leader — if it works out | A shared view of the business and a way of working your team keeps |
Questions, answered.
The things most people ask before we get on a call.
How much does this cost?
Engagements are fixed-fee and scoped up front. The Diagnostic starts at €1,500. Ongoing leadership work typically starts at €3,000 per month, priced by scope and duration — never hourly, never an open-ended retainer. You'll know the number before we start.
Is this a marketing agency?
No. Agencies execute campaigns against a brief. We work a level above campaign execution: helping leadership decide where to focus across the whole business, not just the marketing function.
How is this different from a data or BI consultancy?
A BI consultancy builds the plumbing. We read what comes out of it and tell you what to do about it commercially.
What if we already have a marketing team or a fractional CMO?
Good — most clients do. This sits alongside your marketing function rather than in place of it. If your team's short on priorities, or the numbers coming to the board aren't reliable, that's where we help.
Can we stop after the diagnostic?
Yes. The Diagnostic is designed to stand alone. You leave with a clear read on where revenue is coming from, the levers that matter next, and a plan your team can run internally. If you want help putting it into practice, we scope that separately.
Start with a clearer read.
Tell us who you are and where growth is getting stuck. We'll come back within two working days with a view on the right next step.
